Sparkle gets a home!
Sparkle found the most wonderful home! She will get to hang with her new dad 24/7, keeping him busy playing and training and having fun walks through the village, visits to the park, and all the love and fun she could ever want!

School starts soon!

Hiya! Guess what? School starts tomorrow! I'm so excited, I finally get to go to my own dog class, just like my foster brothers do. I hope I do well....the Boss lady has been practicin' with me. She clicks this clicker thing and then I get a treat. I can't always make her click the clicker thing though...I am not sure, but I think it has somethin' to do with what I am doin' at the time I get the click.
The Boss Lady says I concentrate so hard on trainin' that she can almost see smoke coming outta my ears!...uh, that's a good thing, right?

Lizzie's new favorite toy
Anyway, I decided that the quacky bowling pin was my FAVORITE! And I squeak it as often as I can get my mouth on it. It's great!
Here I am in action with my new toy...

Speck Graduates!
Hey everybody, guess what?

I graduated from my first ever obedience class tonight!
We learned how to make/keep eye contact, "sit" in the front and both sides, lie down, stay/wait, stay/wait with distractions, loose leash walking, really reliable recall, and hand targeting.
Plus, foster mom has been teaching me "look at that" when I see something that makes me nervous, and "target" a plastic disc to get ready for beginner agility, and then silly stuff like paw, spin, unwind just to keep me on my toes.
but you know what? at the end of the day, she's still more tired than me! HA!

Meet Quid!
Hi there world,My name is Quid and I am a foster dog with the amazing group called NEBCR (New England Border Collie Rescue).
I have been in rescue for a couple of weeks. I am looking for a home where I don't have to live with any other dogs. My foster mom thought that one of my foster sisters might be the problem but i got to visit another foster home for a couple of days and i just don't like sharing my space with any dogs. Can you blame me for 10 years I never did.
That being said let me show you how cool a dog I really am. I am very silly first thing in the morning. Instead of a cup of coffee this is how I wake up.
Please don't let my age scare you away. At 10 you might think I am too old but watch this.
